FAQ

Why do movies and series sometimes disappear from the Netflix catalog?
Netflix licenses most of their titles (except "Originals") from studios around the world. These agreements run for a certain time, after which Netflix will decide whether they want to renew or not. Sometimes renewing isn't possible, for example if another streaming service licensed the title exclusively. Other times they find that the title isn't popular enough to warrant the cost of renewing. In that case, if you find that your favorite movie is leaving Netflix, it's probably because not enough people watched it and it was too expensive for them to keep it around.
